Who are the Golden Years Fellowship of GYF?

The GYF are our senior adults, who gather together for fun, food and activities. Our group takes trips to fellowship with one another and to enjoy a good meal. The first Tuesday on the month at 12 noon, we either have a meal at the church followed a program/ party and brief meeting or we take a trip to a restaurant and have a meal.

2026 Trip & Meetings

April 

    Tammy's Dinner at 3624 Georgetown Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. If you need a ride, contact Donna Howard or Kathey Parr.

May 5

     Picnic at Cove Springs Park (upper level). Bring sandwiches and salads for the picnic. Contact Donna or Kathey if you need a ride.

June 2

    Our Best Restaurant, 5728 Smithfield Rd, Smithfield, KY 40068. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. Contact Donna or Kathey if you need a ride.

July 7

    Potluck meal (hamburgers & hot dogs), bring a dish and a dessert. We will have a meeting and meal at 12 noon. Bring an item for the Show n Tell. 

August 4

    Colonel's Lady, 3202 Shelbyville Rd, Shelbyville, KY 40065. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. Contact Donna or Kathey if you need a ride.

September 1

   Meeting, devotion, and a potluck meal at 12 noon. We are having chicken so bring dishes and or desserts to go with it.

October 6

   Ford's Garage, 140 Rojay Dr, Lexington, KY 40503. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. Contact Donna or Kathey if you need a ride.

November 3

   Winchell's Restaurant & Bar, 348 Southland Dr, Lexington, KY 40503. We will meet at the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. Contact Donna or Kathey if you need a ride.

December 2

Christmas Potluck Party at 12 noon in the Narthex. Bring a dish and or dessert with a $10-$15 gift for gift exchange. We will have other games.
